		*Silver Griesbaum Singing Bird Box Automaton*

				This c. 1920s Griesbaum is currently undergoing some minor restoration. The all original bone beak bird is intact (original feathers). Deep and intricate silver relief figures and decoration on all sides -- fully decorated bottom as well. For more information or pictures please contact us.

All of our merchandise (new and non-new) can be returned for refund if you
information.

Also, several of our items as noted are warranteed for a period of time after
purchase (if we have done the prior restoration or repair).

We have a waiting list for the oldest and rarest pieces (which don't make it to the
website). So if you are interested in a rare piece please let us know and we'll add you to
the lists.

Each of our bird boxes have been professionally restored to working condition as needed.
We clean lightly each piece under the assumption that the eventual owner can always
clean further, but it takes decades to add back the patina once removed.

Griesbaum Original Enamel 1900s Bird Box Automaton

This all original Griesbaum singing bird box automaton is perhaps the most beautiful and collectible case style that they did. Modeled after the original Swiss Bruguier design. Handpainted florals on corners and scene on lid. Guilloches design around the base. Enamel is damaged in rear left corner.

This original Griesbaum 1900s #1 style singing bird box automaton is solid silver with original case and movement. Has key compartment in back of case. Damaged original bird was replaced with another original German bird. It is in excellent operational condition.
