				The Reuge "Verona" music box with matching base features an interchangeable orchestral cartel movement with 144 notes, plus separate bells and drum sections. It has 8 cylinders each with 4 songs (contact us for song list). The box and table are done in burr myrtle with inlaid roses, ivy and ribbons -- open work inside the box with swirling arabesques. 	This lovely and hard to find Music Box by Reuge of Switzerland in Burr Vavona is just beautiful. It has mother-of-pearl lining and rosetta inlay. It is a less common vertical piece with the traditional 3 song 72 note movement. The three included songs are by Tchaikovsky and include: March of the Toy Soldiers, Waltz of the Flowers, and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

In the wonderful tradition of the mid to late 19th century cylinder music boxes comes this handsome 144 note, 3 song traditional Reuge movement. The box is done in burr Madrona with a roses inlay made of dyed white maple. This is the highest quality movement that Reuge produces with 144 notes in a Sublime Harmony format. 	*Reuge Winch Music Box -- Studio Collection*



		The move by Reuge to focus exclusively upscale and to gently let some more modern designs emerge has paid off. As a sailor I just love this piece and any sailor would. Its a Music Box with mostly traditional movement (a special 4 song, 144 key version) but its design evokes a sleek boat in every way. The base is mahogany with inlaid lines in maple. The sail (optional -- there is another version without it) is made of carbon. The movement is nickel-plated with blued screws, the speed governor with machined, jewelled finish. The base plate is machined and chamfered with Cotes de Geneve edges with polished mirror finish. Spring housing has been modelled to look like a winch. Awesome.
